Jonathan Kraft

Commercial and Policy Counsel

Jonathan Kraft has spent his entire legal career developing in-house legal functions. Although his role at FourQ is Commercial and Policy Counsel, Jonathan considers himself a “utility player” and is determined to do whatever possible to help the company succeed—whether or not it’s in his job description. The ultimate behind-the-scenes warrior, he is passionate about establishing scalable and sustainable processes that reduce friction and unlock exciting revenue opportunities for FourQ.

Previously, Jonathan served as the Head of Legal for Button, Inc., a mobile adtech platform. As the company’s first in-house attorney, Jonathan built a legal function that moved ahead of the company’s fast pace, dramatically reducing the time to signature and building efficiencies that mitigated potential liabilities in a heavily scrutinized industry. Jonathan previously served as the General Counsel of XpresSpa Group, a publicly-traded company, as well as Counsel to FORM Holdings, Inc., and its portfolio of start-ups.

From an early age, Jonathan was passionate about serving others. He learned at an early age that customer service is an essential skill from his time bagging groceries in high school to answering phone calls from often-angry constituents for members of Congress to overseeing fan promotions for a Major League Baseball team. That experience has helped him in his current role with projects such as developing a clear and frictionless contract negotiation process to allow customers to feel good about signing agreements.

Jonathan earned a B.A. in Political Communication from The George Washington University and a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law, where he focused his studies on corporate law and financial regulation. A member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, he considers data privacy a focus of his work.

Jonathan has an acute case of wanderlust. His favorite trips have included Spain, France, the UK, Japan, Israel, and South Africa, and he is often found planning his next trip. Jonathan is an avid reader, diehard sports fan (Mets, Jets, Knicks, Chelsea FC, UConn Huskies), political junkie, and amateur chef. He has run 3 marathons and enjoys playing tennis and golf. Jonathan consistently seeks opportunities to learn and is consistently searching for more hours in the day.
